Student Services contributes to the quality of students' experience of university through the provision of services designed to promote personal growth and career development. All students can gain access to email and the Internet and new students can arrange to be met on arrival at the airport.

Griffith Accommodation offers a friendly service to help students find the right place to live while they study at Griffith University. A number of options are available and include: on campus accommodation, off campus accommodation, student hostels, flats/houses/apartments, share accommodation and homestay.

Griffith University English Language Institute (GUELI)GUELI is accredited to offer ELICOS and Cambridge First Certificate and Advanced programs at both its Brisbane and Gold Coast Centres with a new Centre to open at Mt Gravatt in February 2005. Classes are made up of students from numerous countries and professional and experienced staff take a personal interest in their students' learning needs. On completing the ELICOS program, students can sit for the International Second Language Proficiency Rating (ISLPR) test. Some Australian universities and colleges, including Griffith University, will accept ISLPR scores as evidence that a student's English language proficiency is adequate for university entrance. IELTS tests are also readily available in Brisbane.
