Dear DeAN-Members,
Welcome to the most international city in Germany, the largest financial centre on the continent, the historical city of coronations, the city of Goethe and the Paulskirche, the cradle of German democracy, and … the host of the 6th DeAN-Reunion.
This year the DeAN-Reunion will take place on the second weekend in September. Please mark your calendars from Friday, 8th until Sunday, 10th of September, 2006.
As every year, the Reunion dinner will be the highlight of this weekend. We found a great location in the historic city centre of Frankfurt, opposite to the Römer.
Besides this, there will be various other activities: On Friday evening we will meet in one of Frankfurt's "Ebbelwoi-Kneipen", where you can try the traditional drink of the region (apple wine: - quite sour, but great in summertime). As Frankfurt is the only German city with a skyline of skyscrapers, we are also planning to visit one of those - maybe the tallest - on Saturday. In addition we will offer a guided city walk "History and presence" of Frankfurt's city centre. On Sunday morning there will be a breakfast in a cosy location.
At the moment we are bargaining for special DeAN-hotel-rates. We will let you know soon…
